How do I buy an All-Access pass?

All-Access passes are SOLD OUT, but you can still purchase individual film tickets.

  1. Navigate to the Pass purchase page.
  2. Select the BUY button.
  3. In the pop-up window, enter your email address if you already have an account in Eventive (our ticketing system), and then your password. If you do not have an Eventive account, enter your email address, your name, and create a password to register. (Remember your login email and password for ordering tickets!)
  4. Checkout with your credit card information.

Note: An All-Access pass does NOT include Filmmaker Education programs. Passes are non-refundable.

How does my All-Access pass work?

An All-Access Festival pass is automatically linked to your account on the Eventive ticketing system, and may be redeemed to view any film in the Festival.

In-Person Festival Films

After you pick up your Pass badge at the Registration Center, simply show your badge at the theater doors and the QR code on your badge will be scanned to allow you into the theater. You do NOT have to reserve individual tickets, but demand is high so be at the door 30 minutes before show time.

Virtual Festival Films

With a pass, you must still select the Purchase Film button for each Virtual film you intend to watch. Because you will be signed into your account linked to your pass, you will not be charged for individual films. Your account on Eventive will update to indicate that you have now applied your pass to this film. Any time you purchase an individual film, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventive. There are no refunds on pass purchases. However, tickets redeemed with a pass can be exchanged for another within one day of purchase.

Where do I pick up my All-Access pass?

You will pick up your All-Access pass badge at the ILLUMINATE Registration Desk located at the Community Environmental Council HUB Atrium, 1219 State Street, downtown Santa Barbara. More information.

How do I transfer my additional pass?

Pass Transfer Instructions

  1. Log in to your Eventive account (upper right corner).
  2. Click on My Passes from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click the cog (gear) next to the pass you’d like to transfer, then click Transfer pass.
  4. Enter the recipient’s email address and click Submit.

The recipient will receive an email containing a link allowing them to either add the pass to their existing Eventive account or to create a new account if they don’t already have one.

Once the recipient has accepted the pass via email, the pass will have transferred successfully!

I have an All-Access pass. How do I order tickets?

If you have an All-Access pass,you do not need to order individual films for the In-Person portion of the Festival. Simply show your pass badge QR code for entry.

In order to ensure your seat, be at the theater 30 minutes before showtime. At 10 minutes, empty seats are opened to Rush Line ticketholders.

I don't have a pass. How do I order individual tickets?

April 5 ONLY – Lobero Theatre

  1. Buy in-person – you may purchase Opening Night film tickets only at the Lobero Theatre located at 33 E Canon Perdido Street, downtown Santa Barbara.
     
  2. Order opening night film tickets online at https://www.lobero.org/events/illuminate-film-festival-2024/

April 5-7 – Fiesta 5 Theatre

  1. Buy in-person – you may purchase film tickets at the ILLUMINATE HUB inside the CEC located at Lot 9, 916 State Street, downtown Santa Barbara.

  2. Order individual tickets online.

Step 1. Navigate to the festival Schedule.

Step 2. Select Order Tickets for in-person films or the Pre-Order Now button for virtual films.

Step 3. In the pop-up window, enter your email address if you already have an account in Eventive, and then your password. If you do not have an Eventive account, enter your email address, your name, and create a password to register. (Remember your login email and password for ordering tickets!)

Step 4. Checkout with your credit card information.

To order additional tickets, select the SCHEDULE icon in the upper-right corner to see a full line-up and order more tickets.

The film is sold out. How do I order rush line tickets?

Arrive at the theater up to 1 hour before show time.

  1. Stand in the RUSH LINE – empty seats are first-come, first-served.

    At 10 minutes before a film begins, the ushers will determine the number of open seats.
     

  2. Order Rush Line tickets from the ticketing coordinator standing at the front of the Rush Line.

    Tickets will be sold via credit card, one at a time until all empty seats are filled.

    There is no guarantee that waiting in the Rush Line will result in a ticket sale.
