COVID Protocols

ILLUMINATE pass and ticket holders are not required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to enter. 

Please have care for fellow attendees, and remember, if you’re not feeling well, please stay home. Our virtual film festival is always an option if you cannot attend the in-person event.

Face coverings are not required but are strongly recommended by the state and county public health departments, regardless of vaccination status, in indoor public spaces. Theater seating allows for social distancing. 

Lobero Theatre

The Lobero has consulted with Mechanical Engineers to determine best practices and take extra precautions for the health and safety of Lobero staff, artists, and guests. Standard MERV 8 filters have been replaced with all-new, higher-value MERV 13 filters specifically designed to eliminate the circulation of airborne microbes; installed sterilizing UV light systems on evaporator coils to irradiate and kill airborne microbes in the ductwork before they reach the general air supply, and they have reprogramed the system to inject 100% fresh air while eliminating recirculation of inside air.

The Lobero Theatre follows current local, state, and federal health guidelines.
